Teaching Experience
My teaching experience includes teaching at Tate High School in Pensacola, FL for three years, as well as teaching in Mobile County Public Schools for seven years, where I taught BTA, Personal Finance, Networking 1 & 2, and Career Preparedness. I have been teaching at Pelham High School since the 2016-2017 school year. I teach Business Software Applications (BSA), Digital Media Design & Computer & Game Simulation Programming.
Biography
Hello, my name is Michael Talbert I am a Business/Marketing Education Teacher at Pelham High School. I have been at Pelham High School since the 2016-2017 school year, and I am very excited to teach at Pelham High School. I have my bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis on Human Resource Management from Eastern Michigan University. I also earned my master’s degree in Athletic Administration from Indiana University, while being a Defensive Graduate Assistant for the football program I have working experience as a Human Resource Manager in a Tier 3 Automotive Company. I also worked in Henry Ford Hospital’s Information Technology Department, as an AS400 Lead Computer Operator. I currently teach Business Technology Applications & Multi Media Design. My extended duties include FBLA Advisor. My Experience includes teaching at Tate High School in Pensacola, Fl for three years, as well as teaching in Mobile County Public Schools for 7 Years, where I taught BTA, Personal Finance, Networking 1 & 2, and Career Preparedness. I am certified in the following: First Aid & (AED) CPR, Occupational Safety and Hazard Administration 10 (OSHA 10) Certified, Internet and Computing Core Certification (IC3)-Key Applications, Living Online and Computing Fundamentals, Microsoft Office Specialist in Office 2019 in Word, Word Expert, Excel & PowerPoint. Also certified as a Adobe Certified Associate in Photoshop Visual Communications.
