Welcome to our classroom! We are a functional life skills classroom that focuses on preparing our exceptional learners to be active citizens of their Pelham community.
The paraprofessionals in our class are Kristie Childers, Telea Naugher, Felicia Farrington, and Beverly Love. They are wonderful educators who want to see our students thrive at PHS.
I have been a special education teacher for 9 years and this is my 5th year at PHS. I am originally from South Carolina and I graduated from the College of Charleston #gocougs. I am currently pursuing a dual masters degree from the University of Alabama in Huntsville in visual impairment and behavior analysis.
My daily goal at PHS is to ensure our students are accepted and loved for exactly who they are. I am the advisor for Panther Pals; a club that encourages lifelong friendships between our neurodivergent and neurotypical students.
